Global Head of Knowledge Management - MNC World Leader

This is a rare opportunity to head the Knowledge Management function of a global technology leader. We are seeking to identify a world class professional for this position who will lead a team of experts based across the world to manage the KM function for the company. The position is based in India.

The Role
In keeping with their core philosophy of "made across the world, for the people of the world", the company moves global leadership and decision-making roles across geographies routinely in an endeavour to work with the best minds. Their global Knowledge Management function will now be based in India. As the head for this function, you will be responsible for creating, implementing and maintaining a world-class KM process, tools and mindset for the organisation. In specific, you will :

Create the Knowledge mgmt strategy as a part of HRD Strategy, prepare KM concept based on your analysis of the best practices from within the company and other world leading companies, get business commitment to common concept from all BUs and regions, implement KM processes and tools across the organisation, give input to Balanced Scorecard and develop the concept continuously based on need.

You will report to the global head of HRD, based in Europe.

Your Profile
An MBA or PhD from a premier Indian or global learning institution with at least 15 years of experience in the area of business learning and knowledge management. You could have worked with a premier global technology/manufacturing/consulting/services organisation or even a respected insititution of learning which has strong industry interface. Experience in and ability to institutionalize and manage a world class knowledge management system in a dynamic, multi-cultural global environment will be the critical attribute.
