WE are seeking to identify a high-performance Financial Services professional who has the ability to pilot a high-potential and currently low-profile organisation into a leadership position. The company is an existing, listed organisation with a sterling reputation for expertise and probity. We are seeking to identify an organisation builder to take charge, unlock potential and value and move the company into the billion dollar league. Focus areas of expertise are either Debt and Investment Banking, or Capital Markets and Merchant Banking (their operations span all these and more).
Our client is a respected, high quality full-suite financial services company operating in the non-fund space. They have a 15 year history of delivery to the most demanding of clients for mandates of critical importance and high complexity. The company was set up by senior professionals with proven expertise in their fields and is today guided by a sterling board comprising high-profile experts of impeccable integrity. The group is headquartered in Mumbai and has a national footprint including a significant retail presence.
To fit the profile you must be a qualified professional – a CA or an MBA from a premier institute. You must have approximately 18-25 years of relevant industry experience including at a leadership level, driving a company or business unit and dealing with the top management of large corporates. Your key expertise areas must include both sourcing as well as execution, from deal-making to process based delivery. For Merchant Banking, the key areas will be PE, I-Banking, M&A, IPO and Advisory, whereas Financial Services will focus on Debt, including Trade Finance, Corporate Finance, Project Finance and Infrastructure funding, requiring strong familiarity with Banking products. Finally, we are seeking a high quality leader who displays ability fuelled by an entrepreneurial desire.
Compensation will include fixed pay, performance pay and substantial long term rewards that seek to share the benefits of success. The position is based at Mumbai.
