Chief Executive Officer - Infrastructure & Construction
We are seeking to identify a Chief Executive Officer for our client, a young and dynamic participant in the infrastructure sector with a turnover exceeding Rs. 1000 crores. They are part of a 12 year old group set up by an entrepreneur-professional which today has several global tie-ups, including equity participation. They operate in all parts of the sector - Roads, Bridges, Industrial Parks, canals, etc on BOT/BOOT as well as contract basis and are recognised as a well managed organisation with a great future.
Your Profile
You must be a dynamic professional with a background in construction, having worked at the top management levels of a professional organisation. You mst have exposure to contemporary technology and management techniques in the industry, including global best practices. You should preferably be a Civil Engineer from a premier institute with a management degree and at least 20-25 years of post qualification experience. Cross-functional exposure is essential.
The Opportunity
The company is recognised in the industry as a responsible, innovative and well managed entity and is virtually debt free. At this point they are poised for a quantum leap and high visibility growth, including an IPO and possible international equity partnership. As the CEO, you will be responsible for harnessing these opportunities and leading the company to become one of the largest in the sector in the next five years. By conservative estimates this should be a Rs.5000 crore company by then and we are looking for the individual who can catalyze this growth.
