VICE-PRESIDENT - IT : TELECOM MNC
We are seeking to identify a Vice-President - IT for our client, a leading multinational telecom service company providing world class services across India. Having been though a recent acquisition and globalisation exercise, they are now bringing the advantages of global integration and outsourcing to their IT infrastructure in the country and are seeking an experienced professional to spearhead and manage this initiative.

The Role
You will oversee the transition to a leaner, more efficient IT organisation by defining and anchoring the process of IT outsourcing for the company. You will be the single point contact within the organisation for this billion dollar multi-year initiative. Key responsibilities will include planning and strategizing the outsourcing model, identifying the partner, as well as creating and managing the service level agreements. You will also be responsible for a secure and robust IT environment by ensuring a smooth transition to this model with minimum down time.
Your Profile
You must hold an engineering degree in a related field from a premier institute and must have close to 20 years of high quality IT experience with system driven companies. You should currently be in a leadership role and should have prior infrastructure, applications and project management experience. Outsourcing experience, either on the client or vendor side is essential. In-depth exposure to installing and managing large scale information systems and strong familiarity with current technology offerings and future trends are pre-requisites for the role.
