Sales Director, South Asia - US Mobile Multimedia Leader
We are seeking to Country Sales Head for our client, a US MNC Leader in 3G Video and Multimedia Solutions for the world’s mobile, broadband, and content/aggregator industries. The company's products include multimedia transcoding gateways for the deployment of 3G- Video solutions, 3G protocol stacks and video telephony client solutions. Their solutions interconnect networks & devices to efficiently enable revenue generating voice/video services.
The Position
You will be responsible for the sales territories of India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh etc and report to the Vice President of Sales, Asia Pacific. As Head of Sales for the subcontinent, you will be responsible for establishing, developing and closing business opportunities with key account mobile operators, major telecommunications equipment manufacturers, and channel partners. This would require a consultative approach, a high level of relationship management and the ability to build a personal rapport with the client's top management.The position is based in New Delhi
Your Profile
Ideally, you shoule be an Engineer / MBA with approximately 15 yrs of post qualification experience. The position requires senior level sales experience with large carrier accounts, as well as major equipment vendors and channel partners. Your experience should include a strong stint in Sales & Marketing and relationship management in a multinational environment, along with exposure to Account based selling of complete solutions, preferably in the telecom sector. Exposure to operators like BSNL and MTNL will be a definite advantage. A proven track record of building long-term relationships with strategic carrier accounts is essential. The sector has a huge growth potential and the company is well positioned to achieve leadership. You are the key ingredient they are seeking, to actualise these plans.
