SALES MANAGER NEW BUSINESS CHANNELS - GLOBAL INFORMATION SERVICES LEADER
We are seeking to recruit a top quality sales professional for a world leader in financial information and services. As a part of the initial start-up organisation in India, you will be required to manage their high-volume sales channel in the B2B space through innovative methods including tele sales and direct contact sales.

Our client is a world leader in financial information and has been a recognized source of real time business and financial news as well as information services for consumer and enterprise media channels for over several decades. Already one of the worlds most credible brand names in the secto, they are now a part of the worls largest media conglomerate through a recent high-profile acquisition. The organisation is poised for exponential growth in India and the country will also be a key part of their Asia Pacific operations. This position will report to the Managing Director, India
The Role
This is a senior management position and is a member of the India Leadership Team and will play a crucial part in the success of the company’s plans for expansion in India.You will be responsible for the company's sales operations achieving scale across India by leveraging sales capability over the telephone to prospect for new business, build a strong sales pipeline and close opportunities either on the telephone or with the help of direct contact Sales Specialists. You will lead a team of high quality Business Executives operating in financial information, online business information and data based information products to ensure sales success and target achievement.
Your Profile
You must be an MBA, preferably from a premier B school with 8-12 years of experience in B2B sales as well as sales management, preferably in services sales. You must have good exposure to the financial sector and must be capable of understanding and articulating business service products including financial and information data services. A good understanding of internet and intranet capabilities and technology and the ability to stay up-to-date on industry trends, competition and changing technology is essential.
