HEAD-BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT-AMERICAN MNC
We are seeking to recruit a Head of Business Development for our client, a large American manufacturing multinational. The company is a leading manufacturer of automotive engineering products in a niche segment with a hundred year history and has a presence across the globe. The India operations comprise of a world class fully integrated manufacturing facility from where they export their products to over fifty countries across the world.
The Job
The position is part of a succession plan, whereby you would be expected to head the Sales & Marketing function in the next 18-24 months. Meanwhile, you will lead the Business Development and Strategic Planning team to identify high growth opportunities for the organisation in the country and will conceptualize and implement a business model working with the Country Head. You will also work closely with their current (expatriate) Head of Sales and Marketing to understand the dynamics of the company's core business and create the blueprint for their future in the country,where they are poised for exponential growth.
Your Profile
You must be an MBA from a premier institute, with a first degree in engineering and 15 to 20 years of experience in sales and strategic marketing with a top notch Indian company or a multinational, preferably in the automobile, consumer goods or FMCG industry. Work experience in a multi-cultural environment and rural marketing exposure will also be an advantage.
