Business Manager --- Value Added Services, 3G Telecom
We are seeking to recruit a Business Manager for an MNC world leader in mobile phones, to manage the futuristic 3G VAS business . The company is a highly respected market leader as well as the most preferred consumer brand, both globally as well as in India. Their low hierarchy, matrix organisation that ensures total delegation and all professional careers in this company are on par globally.
The Position
The position is responsible for managing the 3G Value added services segment as a separate business. This will involve conceptualising revenue models for possibile businesses depending on handset and network capabillities. You will plan, develop and execute new concept business models,launch new features such as interactive gaming,blogging, imaging etc thereby creating compelling experiences among customers and enhancing the usage of mobile services.
Your Profile
The ideal profile would be an Engineer/MBA from a premier institute with 10-12 yrs of post qualification experience in the consumer/technology domains. Some exposure to internet based businesses would be a definite advantage. Your competency set should include Business Development, Marketing, Partner/vendor negotiations, Product launch experience, Pricing and market awareness.You must have strong passion for consumer technology. Ability to understand local requirements and nurture industry contacts are the key.
