Group Human Resources Head – Infrastructure industry

We are seeking to recruit the Group Head of Human Resources for our client, a young and dynamic participant in the infrastructure sector with a turnover exceeding Rs. 1000 crores.

Set up by an entrepreneur-professional 12 years ago, the company today has several global tie-ups, including equity participation. They operate in the fastest growing segments of the infrastructure sector - Roads, Bridges, Industrial Parks and Real Estate, besides being industry leaders in waste management. Operating on BOT/BOOT as well as contract basis, they have several success stories to their credit and are recognised as a well managed organisation with a great future.

The Role

As the HR Head for the Group, you will be responsible for formulating and implementing HR strategy across all the businesses, including putting in place management teams and HR systems & processes. You will instill organisational values and focus on developing leadership talent, keeping the complexities of this industry and challenges in mind. A deep understanding of company strategy would need to be translated to a human resources plan.

The Person

The ideal candidate is one with the depth and ability to take their people organization from where it is, to where it is likely to be – a 10,000 crore group by 2011. You must be an MBA from a reputed institute with 15-20 years experience preferably in large organizations, of which at least the last 5 years should be in a leadership role with responsibility . Creating strategies and managing efficient execution should be your key strength. Must have executed change management.
