Lead - Accounting & Reporting : Europe
Our client, one of the world's leading telecom companies, is seeking to recruit a senior level finance professional for their global accounting and reporting team, to be based in Europe.
The Role
You will be a part of the core team that is responsible for global accounting and reporting for the company, a $ 15 Billion + entity with operations in close to 150 countries. Various periodical reporting tasks, preparation of US GAAP reconciliations and accounting for incentives will be a part of your portfolio. This position will also give you an opportunity to provide accounting advice to group companies and global implementation of the company's accounting principles.
Your Profile
You must be a CA with 8-10 years of in-depth experience in accounting and reporting under IFRS and/or US GAAP in publicly listed international companies or one of the 'Big 4' audit firms. You must have in-depth knowledge of basic accounting principles as applicable to international accounting and should have held trans-national responsibility for the same, at some stage of your career. Ability to work with a multi-cultural team in an international setting is essential.
