Head of Finance, India - Healthcare MNC
We are assisting a large European healthcare multinational to select their Head of Finance for India. The company has recently entered the Indian market through a large acquisition and is now seeking to establish a major presence here in view of the exponential growth potential here, in their segment of the industry. With operations spanning four continents, the company has a truly international presence and offers enormous growth opportunities.
The Position
You will Head and manage the Finance and Administration fiunctions for the India entity. This entails full Balance Sheet, Finance, as well as Analysis & Reporting responsibilities including fiscal control of relationships with third party vendors. You will work jointly with Corporate Finance in Europe, to develop world-class processes for the India organisation and assist in successfully executing the company's business plans. A deep understanding of the company's strategic goals and the ability to operationalise the systems and controls required for their fulfilment is essential.
The Business
The company has acquired a well run business in the country and is keen to retain implement strong fiscal controls, since they forsee exponential growth in this market. They are a well managed organisation worldwide and provide adequate operational freedom within a systematic functional framework.
Your Profile
You must be a CA with 15-20 years experience, most of which should be in a well managed, system driven multinational, preferably having a wide distrubution network and third party manufacturing relationships. Independent handling of the Finance & Accounting function at least at the SBU level with Balance Sheet responsibility for a company would be essential. You must be capable of creating sound strategy and managing efficient execution.
