Global Business Controller - Telecom World Leader
Our client, an established industry leader worldwide, is seeking to appoint a top-notch finance professional as Head of Business Control for the global operations of their fastest growing SBU. This is a top management position at a global level for one of the most admired companies in the Telecom industry.
THE ROLE
You will be responsible for setting the financial agenda for this business across the world. This will involve developing business models for entry and operations in multiple countries and future direction setting, including evaluating new business opportunities. You will also manage financial analysis, productivity control, risk management and internal control. You will report to the global CEO for this business.
YOUR PROFILE
You must be a qualified finance professional - either an MBA from a premier international or Indian business school, or a CA / CPA with at least 15 years of robust experience including substantial exposure to financial analysis and control. Multiple country experience with exposure to business decision making is essential. As an individual, you must be comfortable with multi-cultural diversity and have an ability to build relationships across borders. A key element of the role will be the ability to assimilate local concerns into global strategy when evaluating opportunities. Exposure to technology and the services sector would be an advantage.
