We are seeking to recruit a Head of Manufacturing Services for the Technology Centre of one of the world's leading industrial companies. This American multinational is a leading manufacturer of automotive engineering products in a niche segment and has a presence across the globe. The India operations comprise of a world class manufacturing facility as well as a state of the art technology centre that provides global shared engineering and technical support.This multi-disciplinary facility focuses on delivering the highest level of technical support to organisation's business units worldwide.
The Position
You will head and manage a manufacturing services business to ensure world class standards, reporting to the corporate HQ in the United States. You will also be responsible for process and productivity improvements as well as resource planning and individual performance management.This will include developing and monitoring projects on a multi-million dollar operating budget to support the company's engineering and manufacturing facilities across the world.
Your Profile
You must be an engineer from a premier institute followed by approximately 15 years of work experience in a manufacturing company with world class systems and procedures. Your exposure should preferably include production and manufacturing planning, product and process development. Hands-on experience to principles of Lean Manufacturing as well as financial concepts are essential. Manufacturing engineering experience in automobiles / auto components will be a distinct advantage.
